"MIDLAND, MI — Planet Fitness is asking for the dismissal of a lawsuit involving the company's transgender-friendly locker room policy, calling the suit "woefully deficient" and claiming it promotes discrimination against transgender people.
Motions filed on July 31 in Midland County Circuit Court by lawyers for the corporate gym chain and an individual Midland Planet Fitness franchise claim a lawsuit filed by a Sanford woman is not legally sufficient to continue."
