SRS?

I have been thinking a lot about SRS over the last few weeks. At times I wish I could be in Montreal next week! Others times I am worried about having that surgery at my age (soon to be 62 - in 4 days). I have read the links related to orchiectomy and wonder if that would be one route. I am rambling, but that is where I am at this moment. I would like to her from those in my age bracket to have undertaking SRS to hear how it went for them. Any concerns with 'age' being an issue with the doctors? I am in very good health and I know that is always one of the first questions asked. Thanks for your thoughts.

Well someone described a neovagina... being like a cis vagina, with softness and all...
and some people can mostly imagine themselves in a female position during sex...
well of course its also possible anal but its different with a vagina.

You might make a list of advantages and disadvantages.

and there wrere people in their 70s with srs... so if you don't smoke and are healthy you might try to relax...

I had SRS at the age of 64.   I have been lucky to have had few risk factors due to age.   Things like diabetes, heart disease, or smoking, can increase the risk of surgery and make healing more difficult.   In my case, I did everything to be in best of condition prior to surgery.   I needed it, having two post-op complications that made my recovery difficult. 

If you're unsure if you're healthy enough, your doctor can go over surgical risk factors with you.
