For those of you who have watched I Am Cait, a question

I haven't watched the series but I am curious, I've read a few synopsis and it says she goes out in public quite a few times with all her girlfriends and such.  Does the show (or she, or anyone else) ever state if she has passing privileges out in the world/blends?  I'm really curious.  Thanks.

I have watched portions of her show and yes she is seen out in public at mostly staged events.  Even walking in and out of a building she is readily recognized.  With her level of celebrity I would guess she is going to be recognized as Cait Jenner with all of her world class history and family notoriety for a very long time.  Hard to imagine a place where she can just blend in?  The price of fame eh?

They do touch upon the subject that she has passing privilege due to her status. She has been able to quickly obtain what many trans women may never obtain. She's been able to reveal herself with a 'new' face and body, which instantly looks feminine.
They also talk about Caitlyn being oblivious to the majority of the trans community's struggles including employment and safety issues.

Whether Ms. Jenner could pass is sort of a moot point; neither she nor we will likely ever know.

It's pretty hard to blend in when you're being followed around by camera crews and paparazzi most of the time...  and when everyone knows exactly what you look like.
