Unsure

Hey everyone!

I finally decided to post an introduction after a while. I joined this forum on saturday and found answers to most of my questions. At first, i was very unsure (teehee ::) ), but everything seems to be much clearer now. Also, i finally picked a name for myself, its Linda! Yey!  :D Currently i am trying to find an alternative source of income, i am unemployed and the wages compared to costs here are terrible. I wouldnt even be able to move out on my own, nor save up for my transition to womanhood. I have tried various things with good potential, but they didnt work in the longterm and the risk isnt worth it. Currently i am learning how to program apps for android. I see a big potential in it, and hopefully ill be able to do it for living in some time, and maybe even hit the jackpot with some epic app to make fortune.  :D If you have any tips for me, from programming to learning how to do makeup or taking better care of myself, everything is welcome!  ;)

Thanks for reading and have a great day! :)

I'm so glad you have been able to answer most of your questions so soon.
Hopefully we can help you answer any that come up during your transition.

Ok you ask for it. In programing, that hot app is something nobody else has done and you truly believe in. You have to think it's so great you will put in 24 hours a day to make it happen. Once you have the app, it's isn't over because you need to correct any problems you overlooked and add the good ideas that others might suggest.

If you can't do all of the above, you might be better off programming for somebody else.

Big warm welcome to Susan's Linda

Thanks for popping up an intro

Best wishes for the android programming goals... Many people make it by just thinking of what would be useful and the value of it "on the fly" so to speak. Not easy, but the rewards can be great. Alternatively trying to get a role in a SW devel co. could give you the basics and thought processes for moving forward.

I look forward to seeing you about the forum's

I know what you mean. I dont expect my first app to be great success or to earn me alot of money. It is more like a test run, when i am getting to know the enviroment and the posibilites. Also learing how to put everything together and making it work as i want it to. Once i am ahead of this step, i can focus on the great ideas and as you said, put 24 hours a day into it. I am not saying it will be easy, but i know, if i put enough effort into it, it will be worth it. In the worse case, i will end up only with knowledge of programming apps for android. Which is definitely not going to hurt my CV resume, and could help me get a job later.  :P

Thanks! Best wishes to you too!  :) I know it wont be easy, but it is not impossible. I am very confident about this, but i am not lying to myself and makr up fairy tales how is it going to be so simple. I know, there will be moments where i will struggle alot and it is going to test my patience. But i believe, if i keep making progress and going forward, i have to succeed at one point. I have been unlucky nearly my whole life, so maybe i can get lucky this time!  ;)
