Testosterone Injection

Hey everyone. I inject T every week into my thigh muscle(rotating from one lef to the other). I was told to do it on the outer part of the muscle, my issue is that my muscle is only about 3 inches wide(not sure if thats typical) But I was wondering if anyone knew if I can take it in the middle of the muscle. Im worried about missing it because Im pretty sure I have before lol.

Imagine you are looking at your own butt Divide your cheek  into 4 quarters (in your head) and inject in the top right corner....I used to be a nurse....avoid anywhere near the middle because you have a major nerve running down the middle

Sarah, he's injecting his thigh, not his butt.

Jesse, as long as you're injecting lateral to the midline of the thigh, you should be fine. What size needle are you using? I use a 1", 25 ga. needle, which I think is smaller than what most docs prescribe. If your thighs are small, you probably don't need one that's any bigger than that. Hurts less with a smaller one, too.

Below is a picture of my leg and a rough idea of where I'm injecting. I rotate between 4 different points on each leg. I draw up my testosterone with a 24 gauge needle and inject with a 20 gauge needle. I stick it in 3/4 of the length of the needle and inject from there.



Please ignore the phone shadow I'm in Panera and it's weird enough taking a picture of your pale man thigh, slightly weirder to do it with flash.
