"A transgender woman suffered minor injuries in a scuffle last week that was initiated after a 34-year-old man reportedly made derogatory comments toward the 45-year-old woman and spat at her while she was shopping at a Target in Glendale, Calif., police announced Tuesday.

The man, identified as Rodolfo Coria, was charged Friday with one misdemeanor count each of assault and committing a hate crime in connection with the incident, said Glendale police spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot."

Why is there hate crimes really.. Why do people feel the need to make another person feel bad about thereselfs. What do they actually get out of it..
In 2015 you would think by now that the human race would except different cultures creeds and race. Is the human kind really that pathetic that only a handful of people all around the world can see the true meanings of the word life.. Treat people the way you would like to be treated and to love and appreciate one another. If people do good then praise them and if they do bad punish them thats it.....
Dont punish people for just being them, when they are good people.

So reading this is has put a smile on my face because it shows that the good will prosper over bad..

Sorry if this dont make sence..

Human beings are exactly the same now as they were before civil rights when African Americans were treated the same way transgender people are being treated now.  They have not changed.  The only thing that changed was harsh laws protecting AA.  If it were not for those laws African Americans would still be treated the same way as they were before civil rights laws.  So we are dealing with the same type of mentality but we don't have legal protections specific to transgendered.
