So I can't see the Endocrinologist for the 1st time till Nov 3rd . Grrrr. So I was having major issues with that. Started looking online for how to do hormones w/o a Dr. Bad idea right?

Very bad idea. I know how hard it is to be told you have to wait, again. But it is just too risky to self medicate.

I'm sending you hugs in hopes that it helps with the wait. If anything can. But hang in there. At least you have a date to look forward too now!

Yes, it's bad. You can not guarantee that the hormones you buy from "black market" sources are at the right dosage/concentrations/correct filler/etc. and this wouldn't be a good idea to go to the doctor with hormones already in your system because it will mess up the results and possibly make the doctor refuse to treat you. It's just not a good idea in general.

Yes, it is a bad idea. You must establish a positive relationship with your doctor from the outset. November is not that far away in the scheme of things. Concentrate on other things to improve your image. Buy some nice clothes. Think about what you will be named for the rest of your life. There is tons of stuff you can do. HRT is NOT the end all in the process. I know how anxious we all get concerning this aspect of transition, but your attitude and facial hair (if you are mtf) will get your the most traction.

Not only is it a bad idea, but it is also against site rules
