Being trans* is so hard. We reach out and give our love and support to each other. We, the trans*community, have an inkling of our horror. But even we have little insight into what each of us go through to be 'us'.

I have a wonderful friend, I'll call him AH, a transman. He has been to a worse Hell than most, but with his bravery, determination and commitment he has overcome so much.

Far more than I could have faced.

His original top surgery went horribly wrong. He goes back on Monday, my time, for a second top reconstruction. He is horribly frightened, has few friends, and being 'cared' for by his mother who rejected him (and I'm being kind).

If you can, keep him in your thoughts.

Transmen are so brave, I admire you guys so much.

Thank you for being my brothers, for accepting your sisters even when we .... best unsaid!

You are all in my thoughts tonight

Aw, man. Pardon my ineloquence, but sometimes, things really suck. He's in my thoughts. AH -- best of luck to you, and good vibes always. Way to stay tough.

(And thank you, Cindy, for the general kindness of this post. Means more than you know.)

< Thank you but mind your language >
