Hi everyone. I'm really glad to have found Susan's!! I would like to share an experience with you. Recently, I spent an evening with my SO (woman) in Castro District dressed up.... mini skirt, blouse, heels and tights. NO make up and no wig. My intention wasn't to impersonate a woman. I just wanted to dress in drag. I had the most wonderful time. Lots of people didn't even notice and those who did (male and female) were very accepting, and encouraging. Had a couple of "nice legs" comments from several women. I went to a restaurant, several bars, people watched, went to Starbucks and into a book store. This was such a addicting experience that I want to do this again and again. Anyone ever had a similar experience? I realize that I'm never going to pass a woman and actually have given up trying. For me, going out in drag as a man seems to be a natural and non stressful way of getting out. I just wanted/want to be me. Anyone else had a similar experience? I really look forward to hearing from you. Y
