I had my first meeting with my GP today she is very friendly and a really up beat person who puts off very good energy, I couldn't be happier with her, she went into a long conversation with me about my childhood and my family, and about my dysphoria along with a bunch of other things which I almost cried but I tried not to cause I hate crying around people lol.

so about the good news! ( enter drum roll here) she's going to put me on T!!!!!!! she gave me a bunch of paperwork that I need to sign giving me consent ( even tho I am 30) stating the risks and stuff and a blood work form which I am going to do on friday! I see her next in October and I can't fricken wait! best fricken day ever!!! 

Plus she is going to send me to a support group so I can meet other transgenders in my local area which I can't wait for since I know absolutely no one out here cause I recently moved.

Im so happy for you.. Thats great news.. Itis a great feeling when you start hormones because it os the start of your journey to your new life.. And that you have a GP who is nice, friendly and supportive to help you along the way..

EEE!! blood work tomorrow! not looking forward to the fasting since I love to eat but it's worth it xD another good thing happened today, the lady that does the support group called me today she wants to meet for coffee tomorrow, I can't wait c: things are finally rolling!

I really am so pleased for you  Honestly - I've read some of the other stuff you've written and it's so sad in places. So it's lovely to hear that you're making progress with something you want to do so much! I mean, we all deserve to get where we want to be, but it sounds like your journey has been marked by difficulty even with getting going. But you have now! I really am happy to hear that and hope that you get everything you want out of it. I'm sure you will!!

Listen to me, I don't even start hormones for another couple of months

Aww thank you soo much Missy c: I was having a hard time getting to where I am today but I am happy that things are starting to roll into place and the ball is going. I got my blood work done today and OMG!!! I never seen so many tubes in my life I swear she was going to drain me of my blood - those damn vampires - lol but it thankfully that is out of the way except I was so nervous to get blood work done that I couldn't pee!! so I'll have to bring that back in the morning xD. Unfortunately I couldn't meet up with the support worker for coffee today since I had to go pick up my cousin from grief counseling and the support worker was sick with the stomach flu - I really hope she gets better :c but she said that I could call her when I have time so we can meet up so that is a plus. My next appointment to see my GP to determine if I can go on T and for my physical exam ( cringes ) is October 15th which isnt to far away but URGHHH THE WAIT!!! lol

Sorry about not posting here in a while! I went to change my email on my account and I typed it in wrong cause I am a doofus lol so I had to make this account, thank you all for the good wishes!! my doctor got my blood work and wishes to see me this coming Wednesday omg I am soo nervous and I have so many anxieties..is it normal for her to want to see me soo soon? could something be wrong with my blood work? Omg!! but I am trying soo hard to stay positive about it lol so here is to hoping it something good and she had's me that perscription!
