This weekend will mark two years since I have started living as my true self. I began HRT five months later in February 2014. Because the changes that others see can be painfully slow for us to see, I have kept a photo journal to mark my progress. I'm glad I have, most of the time I see the same person I hated for the first 45 years of my life staring back at me in the mirror. The pictures are a good record that changes have happened.

Congrats and beautiful transformation over that time especially the smile in the most recent one. I have been doing the same and every so often I go back and look at the the photos and I'm amazed by the changes even from just a few months. Hugs

Amazing, and proof that you don't have to transition young (although that would be ideal) to to get a good result.

You look beautiful, Allison!

Allison, you look great! I hope I look as good in another year.
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

They say the light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train. I say, climb aboard!

Thank you Kate. I started hormones at 45, pretty late in life, but I am quite pleased with the results thus far.
