I'm over in Boulder but not too far off. If you find anything very good please do let me know. I'm trying to build up a bit of a community to help with this process, other people who are going through similar things. Nice to meet someone else in my area!

I'm homeless, but I am usually in downtown.  We should meet up.  I could really use the support

Hello everyone. This is the first time I'm actually reaching out to the community in hopes to meet friends or people I can at least talk to. I've been very lonely. I moved into downtown Denver a few months ago since I was living in an area without many trans resources. I work from home and...I thought I would be ok...but I've slowly gotten more and more depressed as time has gone on and I barely have any social contact. I've realized I need people now...it's to hard to go alone and pretend I can handle all the stresses by myself. I'm about 6 months into my transition and what I really need is friends more than anything.

I'd love to meet any of you who are in the Denver area, and I'm potentially looking for a roomie if we can get along because I'm at the point where I absolutely hate living alone. Likewise, I'm hoping to start attending the LGBT center group therapy session for transgenders to hopefully meet some more people and if anyone would like a ride, especially if you're near 16th street downtown, I'd be happy to give you a lift and it would be nice to go with someone.

If anyone feels like talking, send me a PM. :)

Welcome to Susan's Place Azurefrost. I am way past transitioning and in Phoenix but you should be able to find somebody in your area. It possible you will be able to meet somebody through the LGBT group you are attending. Until you reach 15 quality posts, you will be unable to send a PM but you can receive them. For now you can enjoy the company of the others on the board. Should you desire more interaction, Chat will provide live interaction.

We issue to all new members the following links so you will best be able to use the web site.

Thank you. I was getting a tad bit confused and figured that it was a post count thing. :)

Yeah. The LGBT of Colorado meetup is one I'm going to finally drag myself to as soon as they resume again after new years. I've gotten help from the center in the past for other things, so they seem good so far.
