LA area stay

I am scheduled for my surgery on nov 9th in Whittier CA i am looking at extended stay hotels in that area however I am not familar with that town in LA and was wondering if anyone from that area could give me any insight so I avoid putting myself in a bad area

Hi -

O.C. expat here, and it appears the usual suspects are all situated on the outer boundaries of the Whittier area.  If you are having SRS, the 1st 15 days or so you are going to be pretty wiped.  Recommend you contact your physician's office and maybe better the Buena Park Visitor's Bureau.  I suspect you will be close (<5-6 mi from Knott's Berry Farm) and there's a ton of tourism in that area.  Also, the hospital maybe a useful resource too.

Feel free to PM me, as I've helped several girls here in Hollywood/Beverly Hills area when they didn't have any family or other support.  Depending on traffic, Whittier is about 35-45 min. away from me and during rush hour it's over hour.
