Annie Social

Hi, my name is Annie.

A resident of St. Petersburg, Florida, I'm an M to F transsexual, and started HRT just over 2 weeks ago. Laser hair removal begins later this month.

I'm still working as a male, because right now I can't afford the possibility of losing my job (and my insurance). Savings are basically non-existant, as I had to start over from scratch financially a little over a year ago. Long story.

I've been divorced for 20 years, and have a 22 year old son who has turned out to be a great kid (mainly due to his mother being a great person).

For 20 years I worked in TV and Film production, and am currently a Graphic Artist. A very good one, by the way!

I feel really lucky to have found this forum, and thank all of those who make it possible.

Hi Annie,

Welcome to Susan's. You will find lots of help here as you make your journey and I hope you will kick in a comment or two and add your own threads when you feel the need. You are amongst friends. So, fix yourself a cup of tea or other relaxing beverage, sit down take your shoes off and set a spell.

Good Journey,

Cassie

HI Annie,
My spouse is also a M/F Transexual. Leah is on HRT also and will travel to Thailand in  the next year or so for SRS. Welcome to Susan"s Palce and the great people who help make your brain and heart work over time with interspectrum. The are super neat and freindly too. The Wiki link is full of great information and is very helpful. The chats are fun too. We are having a getting to know each other better chat this coming Sunday at 8:30 pm Central USA time. Come join us  too if you can arrange it.

I and Leah have 3 sons. almost 32 and 30 and almost 29. They are really great guys.

Leah and I have been married almost 25 years, though I have only known of her TS and desire for SRS for the past 6 years.

glad to have you here,

Smiles,
Peggiann

I'm sure we'll chat later,

Steph :)

Welcome to Susan's, Annie!

While I've just started posting, I've been reading this forum for quite a few months now and I can tell you that, imo, this is the best place to come with TG issues.  The advice is good and, when necessary, not always sugarcoated.  It really helps to hear how it really is for some of the members

Good luck with your continuing process.

Welcome to the forum!   :)

Do you have any sort of webpage where we can view some of your work?

Hope that the new year has been a good one for you so far.

So far so good! Website is still in the works, so not everything works yet, and it's just a geocities site for now: http://www.geocities.com/missanniesocial/

Hello Annie,
I just went to your website at geocities. I really liked the illustration with the Beatle pictures on the wall. I still think the Beatles were the greatest. (I'm a former 60's/70's hippy.)
You are very talented Annie.
Hope to chat more later.
:)

Hi Annie,
Welcome to Susan's. I like your computer art that you made. The one with the female torso opening with a face inside makes me think about many things from robot like hatch, to mystical head floating inside, with pink glow beneath. Also I think about is the face like the soul where the heart should be. It somehow to me relates to something about being alive or animated, even inside a robotic, almost metalic body. Very nice piece anyway.
