Products such as the one your asking about that require a precipitation you need to contact your doctor about so you can get prescription for them. Secondly, any talk about self medication is against TOS 8.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me.

You need to get it from a doctor and from everyone I've heard of who has used it, most doctors prefer not to prescribe it until after two years on hormone therapy. If you are interested you will need to see a doctor.

You'd need to get a prescription from a doctor, and then go to a compounding pharmacy. You should call ahead though and see if they actually have the means to make it. The PCCA announced in 2009 that US compounders were out of stock, and that manufacturers had stopped producing it. They may still have it overseas.

If you are pursuing bottom surgery and your surgeon is requesting/requiring that you use it, they should be able to tell you where to get it from.

I dont like the idea of injecting, is it enough to transition if I just solely used the cream?

DHT cream is not used for transitioning.  Your doctor may prescribe Testosterone cream or gel and yes, people see masculinization on the cream or gel.  How much change and how quickly is different, person to person.

DHT makes your clit grow and also makes gives you male pattern baldness, so be aware of the side affect, should your doctor prescribe it.  The amount of growth and hair loss is, again, different  from person to person.

In the US there isn't an effective, legal, over-the-counter substance that can cause effective transition

Hope this helps.

100% accurate. Most of the supplements you'll see advertised to boost testosterone will not have much, if any, effect on someone whose body is producing its own estrogen. If you want to masculinize and transition, getting a prescription for T is the way you want to go. There are topical versions of T that you can get if you don't want to inject. They are generally more expensive, but they do exist.
