Coming out

I've been thinking about coming out to my parents now. If believe I will never tell my parents in person because I think I'll be more confident in a week, which I don't. My parents are divorced, one is married and the other one is dating. They live two and a half hours away from each other and I only get to see one every weekend. I don't want to ruin their relationships. Is there a good way to come out to them without speaking directly to them, or should I just tell them.

If you aren't comfortable speaking to your parents, you can use a letter or email. I prefer to face somebody so I can answer their question.
