I've been thinking about coming out to my parents now. If believe I will never tell my parents in person because I think I'll be more confident in a week, which I don't. My parents are divorced, one is married and the other one is dating. They live two and a half hours away from each other and I only get to see one every weekend. I don't want to ruin their relationships. Is there a good way to come out to them without speaking directly to them, or should I just tell them.

If you aren't comfortable speaking to your parents, you can use a letter or email. I prefer to face somebody so I can answer their question. Should you decide on the letter route there are several written you can use as is or alter to fit your needs. Post on this thread if you need help and we will be glad to help you. Good luck with your parents
