Do you believe in reincarnation?  I have always wondered about this. Sometimes i feel as if i was born before.  The things i like, my interest in the past, esp medieval. And this feeling i get at times that makes me feel uneasy, like i have old unfinished business i need to take care of. I have imagined my self wearing long full dresses like they wore when battles was fought with swords. And noble ladies wore these magnificent long puffy dresses with petticoats all the old fringe.  I have thought that i was born a woman in a earlier life.  In at least one life i was, if not more.  Now the thought has come to me that could this be why i feel the need to try to be a woman? Could it be something from my past that is making me this way?  I have dressed in fem at times all thru my life.  My wife of late was ok with it, but out of respect to her i only did it when we was alone.  After she passed a little over a year ago, i have totally dressed in fem. I have no desire to go back to wearing guy clothes.  With this said and my belief in reincarnation could this be how or why this is happening to me?

I don't mean to step on any religious toes or any others with this. If you don't believe then you don't believe. If so please pass this over.

You might try to get into a silent moment and think about it.
Maybe in a quiet spot, in nature...

past lifes can be deep stuff.
It can mean unfinished business, deep fears...
it can also mean to uncover what brought you joy over many lifes.
its possible you see a few things you have mastered well over a few lifes...

well coming back to now...
many people now say being transgender has to do with brain development before birth..
there are differences in brains of men and women, so a mismatch is possible...

well... its up to you what you do that you feel might make you happy...
I'd say go with a feeling of joy (within reason  :)  )

I'm open to the idea of reincarnation but I have a friend who definitely believes. She is certain she lived in the mediaeval times much like yourself. Her insight to that era is so clear yet she has never studied it in depth. True or false? Beats me but she could make a believer out of me.

I believe in reincarnation.  I don't believe most people can get any kind of clarity on past lives.  I'm fairly sure I've been a monk in a recent life and fairly sure I've been female in a recent past life.  That's about as much clarity as I would expect.  Logic suggests that I've also been a mosquito at some point, and many ther things.  I don't find it too useful to dwell on that suff, or to spend too much time wondering "why".

I believe in reincarnation. Through study in eastern philosophy and religions in Muslim, Buddhist (several branches), Hindu, Daoism, and others... There are several collections and beliefs of in which one can perceive reincarnation. As per most reincarnation, we are believed to reincarnated I either the same caste as we were previously unless we were doing the right things, in which we can ascend the ranking and be brought up into a higher way of life... But enough of the background into history through reincarnation, I do not want to turn this into a lecture about reincarnation.

My belief in reincarnation is slightly Buddhist in nature and stems from my Chinese cultural background. I believe in which we are reincarnated dependant on good karma, and how we live our lives. Most of the time growing up in the household we were never to harm any moths, as they are the reincarnations and embodiments of our ancestors, and loved ones that had passed. Needless to say there were never any just random patterns in which there were dozens of moths just flying around willy nilly, they never were just random. But on certain occasions like Chinese New Year, or the anniversary of ones passing, or when a family member was close go passing, or even visiting family it never ceased to amaze me that they are there either in good omen or bad omen, in celebration of life and culture. In a way they show up as to say, hey I'm Uncle Willie, or Uncle Daniel, I am this family member, I am here to celebrate with the family, or I am here to say hi.

Story time;
My mom had recently went to go visit her uncle, my grandfathers brother Uncle Walter. He's getting up in age, and my mom always makes time to go visit, and help out with chores and anything else that may be there to do and of course spend quality time. But in getting together a month and a half worth of clothes into her car, in mid day, and getting him seated in the passenger seat and door closed, out of nowhere a moth had mysteriously fluttered into her car and just not even a foot away from his face hand been hovering/flying about right there. Uncle Walter calm, collected never flinching even though there is a moth just dazzling right in front of him, my mom was like how did it get in here. Uncle Walter's response, "oh its just Willie saying hi."
Needless to say before driving off, of course, she opens up the window, and the moth just fly's out and away.
But this and many other events happening throughout my life, leads me to believe that yes my ancestors and grandparents and aunts and uncles that have passed are watching over the family. I do believe in reincarnation as such. Technically speaking I do have partial belief past this that we are reincarnated of our passed lives either being in the same family or not, who knows, that what we do in this life is partial into a rebirth cycle, in which we will be reborn into this world to live life as we see fit. I, myself, have not experienced any past memories, but it all happens in a way that the way I lived in my previous life, does impact my current life, which will subsequent impact my next life.
My life motto: Wake Up and BE Awesome!

"Every minute of your life that you allow someone to dictate your emotions, is a minute of your life you are allowing them to control you." - a dear friend of mine.

Stay true to yourself no matter the consequence, for this is your life, your decision, your trust in which will shape your future. Believe in yourself, if you don't then no one will.

I enjoyed reading your post Katiepie.  I can remember holding the door open for my grandmother as she would chase flies out of her house. She never killed anything, if they was in the way she would gently put it somewhere else. At my age I have seen several family members pass on. Sometimes they do let you know they are still around. I smell my wife's perfume at times. And i am sure i have been visited by my parents. I think they do watch us. I don't think everyone is reincarnated, the ones that don't I believe are here watching over us.

Short story. I lived in my parents home after they passed on.  I was dating this person and they was scared out of the house twice.  Footsteps that came right up to them, but there was no one there. Faint whispers, and a uneasy feeling made them leave twice, they never came back after the second time.  After some time this person showed their true colors.  I am so glad that our relationship went no where. I think my parents ran them away looking out for me. Thats my story anyway and i am sticking to it.
