Mariah

Over the last few weeks I have started to get to know cousins that I left behind when I started transitioning. All my history wiped away and there not knowing anything to relationships with them from scratch. One of those two now knows I'm transgendered and to her credit as a result she did a lot of research and has been supportive. The other still doesn't know. I would have shared, but with my dentist appointment in a few hours and him taking family out the pier near his house in Florida we just didn't get around to it yet. Both were on my original Facebook page and both were dropped in the early removals from that account. The last person to reach out of the two I tried to reach out to when everything started, but didn't respond back. I guess now I will gradually find out what if anything he paid attention to at that point. We will see what happens, but been pleasant with both so far. Hugs

Goodluck!

It sounds like you are already making some good progress! I hope your other cousin is understanding as well. It's never easy trying to tell relatives.

Hugssss!

Good luck, Mariah! I hope this goes well for you. It can feel very good to reconnect with family when they're supportive.
