Did anyone watch the documentary called Girls to Men that aired last night in the UK (10pm, Channel 4)? If so, what did everyone think about it?

I thought it could've been done so much better, the language they used was awful (the title says it all, really), it made me and my partner very angry. They insisted on introducing everyone - and I mean everyone - as "(chosen name), born a girl" or "(chosen name), born (birth name)"... and saying the guys "wanted to become men". There was also the implication throughout that bottom surgery is the "final stage" of everyone's transition, which is certainly not the case, and that without it they weren't "real men". It just focused way too much on genitals and sex for my liking...

I thought some bits were quite touching though, like when they showed one guy getting his first injection  :)

Same here. I was born a man, just have the wrong chromosomes. I also didn't like how they only had 1 person who transitioned later in life. And the do*che at the beginning at the clothes shop should have been educated. Then again it was very informative, shows supportive parents and showed all the different stages. Just wished they'd tell us the awful nhs GIC waiting times and how we have to have numerous therapy sessions to get T. It's a start but needs vast improvements.
They/them pronouns preferred.
