Argentina's third violent transgender death in a month sparks call for justice

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/oct/14/argentina-transgender-women-violence-cristina-fernandez

The Guardian/Reuters in Buenos Aires Wednesday 14 October 2015 17.24 EDT

"A well-known Argentinian LGBT activist has been found dead in her Buenos Aires apartment, the third transgender woman to have died violently in the country over the last month.

Rights group Amnesty International said on Wednesday that the body of Diana Sacayan showed signs of violence. President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, who in 2012 personally gave Sacayan her national identity card recognizing her as a woman, joined Amnesty in calling for justice."
