seldom

The women in DC wear alot of skirts and dresses, it is very common year round.  This is differant from Chicago though, were it is uncommon, most women there wore pants and jeans.

It does have a great deal to do with location.

I'd say where I live in FL its 50/50 depending on how they feel that day.  Down here I see attractive 35+ year old GG's wearing the short low rise mini skirts even, you know the ones that are above mid thigh.  So I'd say each area develops its own style.

I fancy getting some boho types of skirt, something flouncy. Those things were very big last summer...

Yeah, I like those too.  I have five skirts, and four of them are like that.

Not sure it is proper for a lady to be thinking about wearing nothing (:D)...unlike a man a met today who thought it unproper for a lady to think.

Abstract flowers -- yes, one.  For some reason I like those, but not realistic-looking flowers.  I'd post a picture if I currently had that skirt in my possession.  :(

Now that could be fun, black and white thing, maybe a bit of shiny sparkly bits in their beaks.

Bright black and snow white, with iridescent purple and green on their long tails and all kinds of colours of bright sparkly things in their beaks. You'd look smashing.

Were you not looking to make that reference? Pica pica is the latin binomial/Linnean/'scientific name' for the m->-bleeped-<-ie. Except some taxonomist recently decided that American m->-bleeped-<-ies are a different species from European m->-bleeped-<-ies and now they're Pica hudsonia instead of Pica pica hudsonia. M->-bleeped-<-ies haven't noticed, I'm sure.

Nah you got the reference fine and dandy, more for the folk element to taking shiny things...that's sort of my own view of gender - take the bits i like. I chose the European ones 'cos I'm English and they're the ones I see.

In temperment I'm more like a sparra. (Or sparrow for the unenlightened)... The Iridescent purple and green are a big improvement on the original design - but I think we're moving into long coat territory now though. ^-^

Yeah. I was thinking of some chinese silk-on-silk embroidered kimono-ish garments I saw, with phoenix and dragon on instead of m->-bleeped-<-ies, but the only iridescent embroidery I've ever seen.

If it's a kimono, it needs some fishnet stockings with red bows, some doc Martins and a pipe,
