Hi all,

I'm not quite sure where to begin and am afraid this may be quite a long post if I hit on everything jumbled in my head. I've known for some time now that I'm gender fluid (AMAB), and for some time now I've been wanting to transition to something more feminine. I don't want to fully transition, though, and I'm not quite sure how far I do want to transition. I've got a Flash and Go Luxx on my list of things to buy when I have the money. If it works as advertised I'm hoping to get rid of my facial hair with it. I also like the idea of breast growth, but I'm not sure just how much I'd like. I'm thinking start small and proceed from there.

Recently I was searching tumblr using the search term Wicca and came across a potion for feminization. The poster said she had used it with success for some time. It was basically a tea of spearmint and some other herbs, and when I did a websearch to back up or deny her claims of it having medicinal effects I found a link to a discussion on this site which in the same post (I believe--at very least the same thread) the other major herb in the tea was also mentioned.

I've already got a "stash" of herbs and wasn't quite sure how my supply of the ones listed on that tumblr post were, so I bought some more online and plan to start experimenting with that potion when they arrive. I know it's going to take some time to see the effects of it, so the changes should be gradual and will certainly not happen over night. Once I see what that does for me I'll make some decisions about purchasing a supplement I found on amazon. It had some good reviews including one with a pictorial demonstration of how it was able to stimulate breast growth over a period of a month or two.

That all out of the way, I'm pretty much just playing it by ear. So on to more info about me I guess...

I'm 47 years old and believe I have a naturally low testosterone level already due to a combination of chronic fatigue syndrome and having had one testicle removed due to cancer 14 years ago. Since then I've been cancer free and "officially cured", so it's not likely to come back. (Yay! :) )

I'm using the name Jewel here and on facebook because all my life I've had a bit of a watered down German accent that made people think I was telling them that was my name when introducing myself for the first time anyway. (My given name is Joel.) I'm not picky about pronouns and as such use they/them on facebook. In real life I generally use him. Having been part of the gay community for so long, though, I've always enjoyed being referred to as she/her, too. So please feel free to use whatever pronouns you like with me.  :)

I'm feeling this has already become very long, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask. At the very worst my reply will be a polite "That's personal" if I don't feel comfortable answering. I'm looking forward to getting to know everybody.

Welcome to Susan's Place. We have a non binary section where you will find others like yourself but feel free to enter any conversation that you find interesting. I would be very careful about natural solutions for breast growth because many are a waste of money and while a few work, they can be very dangerous. We will remove many references to self medication but drugs and blood levels may be discussed. Also breast growth is a slow process and takes months to produce noticeable growth. In addition, I received hormones for years and only ended up with less than a B cup because my genetics only permitted that. Feel free to ask any questions you might have.

We issue to all new members the following links so you will best be able to use the web site.

Thanks so much for your input! I'm not arguing what you said, but in this particular case I've taken these herbs before for other medicinal qualities in the past. One of them is to just to be sprinkled upon the tea as it commonly is with latte's, and the other I've taken successfully to get the lymph flowing when experiencing swollen glands. So the ones I'm thinking of taking are very safe. Possibly a waste of money, but at least safe. The supplement I mentioned seeing on amazon is something I would have to do more research about before even considering it. However, I am on medicaid and not likely to be covered if I were to go to a doctor. So  patience and herbs are something I'm planning to deal with for now. I have been reading the warnings about what's acceptable to mention on here, though, so I'm trying to be careful about what I say. Thanks for the welcome! :)

Hi ladies! Thanks so much! :)

I'm so happy! I just discovered (and bought) the Silk'n Glide on HSN.com! It's very similar to the Silk'n Flash & Go, but it steadily gives out light pulses, allowing it to glide along the skin. This is going to be really nice for getting rid of unwanted hair, but I can't wait for it to get rid of my facial hair! I know that'll take some time and many uses of the device, but I'm just so excited to have something to do that with now! :)

Hi Jewel,

A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi". Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.

There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in start talking and ask any question you like. You're quite safe here and we are very accepting.

With what you've mentioned with previous ailments, it may be wise to check in with your health professional regarding any supplements. Altering any part of your body chemistry, irrespective of how weak or mild a supplement may be, you don't know the knock on affect it can have elsewhere. It's only when you notice something is not right is when the damage has been done.

Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.

Lotsa huggs
Catherine
