It seems these days whenever I go outside I keep getting panic attacks/anxiety bc of my voices. They literally say the most revolting things and just I hate it so much.  >:(

Hi jingling void,

Despair not. Mental health techniques are very advanced these days, particularly in assisting you through these moments. These voices are very controllable, particularly from your perspective.

They don't rule you; you rule them.

This is nothing to be scared, embarrassed or fearful of. See if you can get to see a therapist who is well versed in these practices. You'll be amazed at the non medication methods that are available to you.

There are many, highly productive senior managerial people who are living highly effective lives with the same condition. They have learned the techniques on how to control them.

There are a few TED talks on this matter that are very encouraging. Take heart.

I've had the same problem for a very long time, but my voices always say positive things. I've talked to a therapist about it , but because they only say positive things it's a conundrum. I've never hear a bad word, pretty weird. It's so weird I've tried to figure out where they come from , but I can't. I thought they were coming from some FBI communications device, but once in a while I'll here the same voice outside. The only thing I can figure out is that they behave similar to photons of light that when they hit the boundary between consciousness and sub consciousness they produce an incredible soft , clear almost undetectable sound in the form of a voice. They are so soft and almost undetectable , but very clear in what's being said. Totally weird. but fortunately very positive and life affirming.
