Hi this is my first post, I am having my Orchi in January 2016, I have waited a long time for this, I am 35 and have been on hormones 16 years, and transitioned 18 years ago! I am also legally female. I guess I am wondering has anyone been happy with just a orchi ? I dream of having full srs but I do not know if and when it will be within my reach? I do not want to wait any longer, I have the money now for my orchi and feel I must get it done, has anyone else been ok with just orchi and not full grs/srs ? any insight would be most appreciated.

I'm not sure, but I think it is possible to have a vaginoplasty at a later date after your orchiectomy if that's what you want. Best thing is to check with your surgeon or perhaps someone else with much more knowledge can help?

I just figured I may as well go the distance the first time out.

Welcome aboard Avi-p.  There are quite a few girls here who sport orchi only and that is where I am heading too.  Many of us seem to have modified our goals along the way due to expense, risk and other more personal discoveries of what we are OK with.  An orchi can reduce our medication needs and risks considerably at relatively low cost and that is one big consideration for me as i age way too fast;-)

Best of luck to you and let us know how you're doing along the way.
