I'm 16 and have been on hormones in about 7-8 weeks and I'm questioning if my breasts will be average size, or the same as in my family since I'm so young. I've been told I should get an average size because of my age.

Is there anyone who know an answer. I know it is different from person to person but what should I expect?

Nobody knows for sure.

If you're younger there is a better chance, but nothing is guaranteed.

Genetics is primarily what will determine your growth.

I am mid 30s and growing pretty well. There are women 10 and 15 years younger who haven't grown so well. It's genetics. All my family is well endowed.

I went from nothing to a C-cup at 29 as my starting point. Anything is possible but being so young, I wouldnt worry one bit ;)

For sure, It all varies by person, kind of a breast lottery. I'm not young and i went from a B to C in just a few months.

I started my HRT at 23. I am now 26. I have VERY full 34As. I wear 34B because 34A bras are abit snug. My family (Mom, Sisters) are 34C or 36C. When I started, Dr Teri said that I may be 34C due to Genetics. She also said that
had I started my HRT in Puberty, I too would have C cups. I am kind of glad to only be 34A/B. Its like the Genetics Lottery I guess.

I am 37 and I have a C cup from hormones alone. I've been on hormones 11 1/2 months. Looking down I can't see my toes hehe

You could have a look here:

I'd say just be expectant... have some breast massage...
eat healthy...
some people are a bit careful with bras... they might restrict blood flow, so taking them off during the day as soon as possile might be an idea...

One thing I have noticed being a girl, (95% of one at least) is that guys are always non chelantly looking at my boobs. I am a VERY full 34A. Vikki, my GF found me a t-shirt that that a male deer w/ a full set of antlers. On the bottom it says "Hey, girls my eyes are down here!" People get a real kick out of it. W/ winter coming on, winter clothes will hide my boobs until probably Mar/Apr.

Personally, I think it's mostly down to genetics; I think the claims about "one cup size smaller" and age making a difference are largely a myth. Like cis girls, you get what your body is programmed to get, and you have to be patient. ;)

(My mother is a 34B; I'm 38DD and I started at 32. But my sister is also busty, and we both probably take after a grandmother.)

I'm about a year in and don't even have a A cup yet :( Well to be honest i was on a pretty low dose for the first 6 months so I'll give it another 6 month on a higher dose and see what happens.

We have no way of knowing, but generally at that age something similar others in your family could happen. Remember though mileage may very so it is anyone's best guess. Hugs
