I've got a Black Mercedes A220 CDI AMG Line. Not as exciting as my old Ice White Ford Focus ST but a lot nicer to tootle around in.

You've obviously got amazing taste - me too!

My new ride is a toyota preus c.  I think the C stands for cheap or commuter ;)  It is basic transportation but I can nurse that little girl to get 68 miles per gallon and that floats this enviro's boat.  Better not to use any more fossil fuels in a climate changing world so it's a compromise I can make till the all electric car or commuter transit gets here...

I have a Volvo S80. It's a nice car and I like it but I didn't pick it out. My dad got it because it's got a lot of safety features and it's supposed to be like really safe in an accident. I really don't care about a car. As long as it works and isn't ugly or like an ugly color I totally don't care what brand it is.

Julia hows your new FORD  , yes Euro focus/ Mondeo floor pans Mazda/Volvo with Citroen/Peugeot 1.6 diesel engines, its like the new Ford KA is a Fiat 500 right down to the Fiat engine, BMW minis use Citroen /Peugeot engines. Some Nissans are Renaults and Dacia's are based on old Renaults and then VW/Audi Seat Skoda parts shelf

Ha Davina, I have the MOT in two weeks, what's the chances of an old Toyota passing after 2 and a half years gathering dust?

I don't know most of the stuff you just said. But I don't have a ford. My car is a Volvo, it says Volvo on it. But I wouldn't care if it was a ford as long as it got me where I wanted to go.

2005 Land Rover, Range Rover HSE. Don't judge I live in Colorado. I love it, but would hate it if I had to pay someone else to work on it. Thank God I used to fix aircraft. I do offroad it a lot.

Some cool stuff being mentioned here! We've just sold our 2005 R53 Mini Cooper S convertible as we are looking for an R55 Clubman Cooper S to replace it with.

Aagh! A 2005-2008 Cooper S Convertible is my dream car. I was bummed you didn't sell it to me until I saw you were in the UK. Though it would be cool to skate around the US in a Mini with the wheel on the wrong side. I've always loved the Mini convertible, but it's even more attractive now, since here it's regarded as a "chick car."

I'm currently driving an Indi Blue '03 R-53 Cooper S 6-speed coupe with 81,000 miles for go-carting around town and making easy road trips. For heavy duty stuff I take the '08 F-250 diesel truck out of mothballs. On our current trip we're using my wife's '15 Honda Fit (she can't drive a stick).

Aagh! A 2005-2008 Cooper S Convertible is my dream car.

I know the feeling.  I was almost able to buy my dream car also, but couldn't afford to own it and another at a daily driver.  It was a perfectly restored 1972 Lotus Elan S2 hardtop.  I love that car, epitome of the words cute with classy.  It is also simple enough that a regular girl like myself could do the maintenance.  Someday bari jo will look very cool behind the wheel like Emma Peel.

you know how far the universe extends outward? i think i go inside just as deep.

10/11/18 - out to the whole world.  100% friends and family support.
11/6/17 - came out to sister, best day of my life
9/5/17 - formal diagnosis and stopping DIY in favor if prescribed HRT
6/18/17 - decided to stop fighting the trans beast, back on DIY.
Too many ups and downs, DIY, purges of self inbetween dates.
Age 10 - suppression and denial began
Age 8 - knew I was different

I love the Elan. It's the car that the MX-5 Miata was inspired by. I had a couple of those until I got Maggie, then there was no room for all three of us. That's when I got the Mini.

I didn't realize Emma drove an Elan. But Bari Jo would still look uber cool in an XKE convertible.

I like it,too, though I really wanted British Racing Green. That's just the right color for a car built in Oxford. But when you're buying used, you take what you can get.

Managed to escape a soccer mom van. Most recently added a VW Tiguan to the collection. Needed more space for a growing family. Did a 2,600 mile road trip the week after buying and our little one liked the car so much, she was perfectly fine up until the last day (7th driving day). All the new driver assist stuff saved our life once in an almost crash...
