Keratosis pilaris
noticed my thighs and upper arms wouldnt get smooth, seemed like constant stubble, I then realized it looked more like blackheads, so I started acne treatment.... which made it worse. Then I said, it looks like chicken skin and I typed that into google.... I
now have it on my upper back and some of my chest
seems it a is fairly common disorder where your cells overproduce skin at the follicle and cannot shed it naturally, causing a hard bump around the hair shaft, no cure.... can be managed with work...
Keratosis pilaris causes numerous small, rough, tan or red little bumps around hair follicles on the upper arms, thighs, buttocks, and cheeks. Keratosis pilaris creates the appearance of gooseflesh, goose bumps, or chicken skin. Keratosis pilaris is seen in patients with other dry skin conditions and atopic dermatitis.
