So very excited! I went out in public as the real me, Kaylee, for the first time. The wife and I were baby free and she wanted to have a girls night

So I did it, and it was fantastic, and so freeing to finally be who I truly am. I wasn't even nervous (well a little, only when I needed to talk.)

At the restaurant, I got checked out by one of the men waiting his turn for a table (they really don't try to hide it.) Even told the host to seat us first. Got to our table, and waitress immediately said, "well hello ladies."

We ordered desert, simple ice cream to celebrate the big occasion, and the chef sculpted the ice cream scoop to be a rose. Didn't even ask for it, the waitress just told us that he saw us and wanted to do something special

The night was so fantastic, and I can't thank this wonderful community enough to help build my courage to accomplish this step of my transitioning. Your stories, and advice in posts helped so much ... Just want to give everyone a big hug!
Now the confidence is exploding. I can do this and look pretty darn cute. I really can't wait to see what HRT will do.
Hugs!
