"A transgender man, 29-year-old Kayden Coleman, had been transitioning for 10 years when he found out that he was 21 weeks pregnant. Coleman had been on hormone treatments for 10 years which would suppress the ability to get pregnant. However, at the time of conception, the transgender man had been off hormones in preparation of an upcoming mastectomy. For doctors to perform the mastectomy, the transgender man had to be off the hormones for at least six weeks. It was during that time that Coleman became pregnant. "
