It has officially been one month since the very last time (I think) I will stand to use the restroom when there is a seated toilet available. Unless, of course, the toilet seat in question is disgusting.

Almost a week ago, I had to use a urinal because the bus was on its way and the toilets were full. I literally stood there for a full two minutes because my bladder couldn't remember how to go standing up.

Just a small step in my transition, but it feels huge.

It's amazing how quickly and easily sitting can become the habitual mode of operation. In my case, eventually I kinda had to... Graphic description warning: What's happened with me is that my penis has become so estrogenized, that the skin is a lot smoother and moist now along the underside. So since I keep it all tucked away all day, and since it's both shrunk and become curved from textile incarceration, it has a tendency to stick to my scrotum. Even sitting I sometimes pee over myself, if you catch my meaning, but standing would make it even worse, especially if I was in a hurry. Hope that wasn't too weird or gross, I just want to relate my experience. Not sure if all this is common or not, but then I think that's a good reason to mention it. It's certainly a change I couldn't have expected.

I've had a similar experience with that. The only difference is that I've always sit to pee prior to transitioning unless I was in a public restroom with a urinal. Now with as small as it is, I wouldn't even attempt a urinal even though I haven't been in a mens room since March 2014.

I most certainly do not! When the seat is that gross, rarely ever is, I don't even touch it. I usually clean up the previous person's mess and then sit. I only put seats down and clean them up. As for the shrinking factor, yeah that has become a hindrance. I doubt I could pee standing up any more. Even the couple times I have peed in the woods I have dropped trow and squatted! I haven't been in a men's since April and I am never going back!

I haven't shrunken quite to the point of not being able to use a urinal, except that, short of putting my pants and underwear down around my ankles, and perhaps even then, the pathway doesn't fully drain and I end up with an embarrassing wet spot. Consequently, as my ID and presentation still relegates me to men's rooms, I use a urinal only in the direst emergency.

I never liked urinals, even when there was long wall like structures to provide more security from the others, never liked the fact of standing and peeing. The only time I have used one recently was as a urinalysis for the army. Good thing the "witness" never saw that I was not dressed for the occasion as wearing panties. That would have been something I would have to explain way earlier than I want to and with the protections not coming soon enough would probably have been a disaster.

Using the bathrooms at work, I've always sat on the toilet, though first using cleaner to wipe down the seat, then layering the gaskets then sitting down. I always felt amiss when I used the male bathroom, and so i started using the female bathroom, so much easier to go that way, though I still always wipe down the seat before using it.
