hi! I'm Gray. I'm nineteen years old, and I'm trans. I originally started thinking about my gender identity around age 4, and ever since it's been in the back of my head. In highschool I became incredibly ashamed of it and decided to push all feelings of gender down and out of my mind, this resulted in my identifying as agender for the longest while. I have yet to see a therapist, and I'm not sure how to start.

Welcome to Susan's Place. It would be best if you could speak to our parents and have them connect you with a therapist. Therapy cost money and hopefully your parents have insurance to cover treatment. The other options is if your school or school system has a therapist associated with it that can provide you help in understanding yourself and finding a way you can be comfortable with your self. If you are ready to move out on your own, you can see if your work policy covers treatment. There are list of therapist on this site and your local LGBTQ center may be able to advise you on medical help in your area.

We issue to all new members the following links so you will best be able to use the web site.
