Any movie stars?

I applied for a part as an extra when they filmed the opening scene of Gladiator in a forest not too far from where I live.
All they were looking for by the time I got there was big hairy Germanic types, and if you got the part, you weren't allowed to wash or shave for ten days before filming.......yuk!
Needless to say, I wasn't in it.

Has anyone here been more successful?

Too bad you didn't make it into Gladiator. I love that movie.

I have one degree of separation from two extras in "Major League". My sister and brother-in-law were in the stands while they were shooting some crowd shots during a Cleveland Indians game.

That's as close as I get.
