I have a couple students that have been so great to me and lucky for this.Their names are Michelle and Nicki,they have known me for 4 years since they were freshman,they are seniors now.Said they will always remember me when they graduate.When I first came out that I was going to come back as female 2 years ago,it was a shock for them at first.When I came back as Lisa 2 years ago,they both came up to me and we hugged.They are great students.Michelle is also my teacher's aide for my 2nd hour in my 4th hour government class.Nicki is in my 1st hour government and my teacher's aide in my 5th hour 9th grade civics class.They don't miss the old me and see I have a better life now being transgendered.They even said I will be getting an invitation from them for their open house June of next
year.Plus I have helped Nicki come out about herself 2 weeks ago,being a lesbian and she asked me for advice.I told her be honest about it and took it.
