Hi all, long time no see.
Okay, this is a bit of a long story and I'm not going to give you the whole thing. What it comes down to is that my Estrogen is no longer being suppressed simply by being on Testosterone. Over the past few months, my Doctor has tried a few different solutions, and my E keeps rising. It has gotten so high now that I may start having a cycle again. More importantly, it is effecting me mentally and emotionally.
So my Doctor is considering E blockers, but we are both concerned about side effects. The only info I can find online about the medications they would use are for breast cancer patients. Are any FtMs here on E blockers? Is your dose different than a cancer patients? How do you manage the side effects? I really need to find out about this before I make any decisions, so thank you for taking the time to read this, and respond...

Testosterone converts to estrogen naturally in the body so perhaps asking to have T dose reduced? Or aromatase inhibitors that reduce conversion T to E conversion such as Arimidex but this could have side-effects, not sure. Two options to perhaps explore with your physician.
I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

On HRT since early 2004
