I look pretty cute in a short skirt.  I'd hate to get up the nerve to dress in public only to be told that it isn't age-appropriate.

I wouldn't worry about it until you hit 64 where I'm at, but if you look good go for it.

I'm late twenties and I dress in what makes me comfortable and happy. I've been told my fashion sense a bit on the gothic side, and there are a load of garments I want to get from Kate's Clothing and this awesome punk shop in Nottingham. But I mostly stick to rather basic clothing combinations - leggings/tunics, shirt/jeans or skirt.

Nope. When I start looking my age I might think about it.  8)

I like it. It looks cute! When you say Grandma... I think frumpy, and that's far from it.

I don't really care. When it's cold I wear sweats. I am not a fashionista.

I think it looks nice on you.  :)

I am 23.  Usually, I wear sweat pants and a polo shirt, but if I had the funds, I would go for a more conservative look....suspenders, black pants, white sleeved shirt....heavy flannel....olive garb shirts, etc. stuff like that.

I turn 31 at the end of this month  ;D My favorite brand is Free People, but I can't even afford a pair knickers from them. So I try and emulate their look with cheaper brands and I'll add something that pays homage to the current fashion trend E.g at the moment Alice bands and lots of metallic adornments. I do dress a bit more alternative some days and I do have some ridiculously short skirts/mini dresses in my arsenal :) Ooooh I shop at Kates Clothing too Kimberley, I adore her reverse auction sales.

Here is me last Halloween. First time I've ever dressed up, I had so much fun! But in answer to the OP's question, sometimes  >:-)

Not always but I always get "clocked" as being younger anyway

This is a good place to repeat a quote that used to be my signature line here: "Dress your personality not your age." It's from a Hollywood fashion consultant named Ginger Burr. I never think much about age in dressing or choosing a hairstyle, but I do try to dress to suit the occasion and situation.

No heels for me either.  Wish I could, but back surgeries and the fear of falling rules.  Have only been full time since May so I'm building my wardrobe a little at a time.  Living on the TX Gulf Coast defines a lot of what I wear and being retired helps a lot. No miniskirts for me either.  With a large upper body and legs that look like toothpicks I'd look pretty ridiculous.  Did "hotpants" in the 70's with platform shoes, but those days are gone.  No tomboy looks for me though, I like to look femme!
Hugz!
