More milestones and excitement.
I got home from work last night and Michele said that she had needed a blue camisole so went to my drawer and found one that fitted but then had second thoughts as it was a foreign feeling to her.
To me it is a sign of major acceptance as we may now be sharing clothes together.
She tried on one of my pink camisoles and I think I might be the one in future borrowing it back. I have a nice satin pink robe that she is also using from time to time.
She also went through my wardrobe and said that I have more dresses than her but they are not quite her style.
She has also taken one of my eyeliners and I will now have to share with her. What a fantastic feeling.

Does anyone else share their clothing collection, makeup etc with their partner? ???
Treat life's difficult times as if they are normal moments, this makes the normal and special ones even more fantastic.

My wife was the President of an advisory board for a charity and had a formal event to go to.  She didn't like anything she had in her closet so she ended up with one of my evening gowns.  She's been known to raid my wardrobe several times.

My wife raids my pantyhose stash all the time, I think it's kinda cool. I am glad she's comfortable enough to borrow some. She has given me some tops to wear too.

Our styles are quite different but she's welcome to borrow anything anytime.

My wife and I wear the same size shoes, those go back and forth, and I have no proper coats, she loans me those. Nothing else, our sizes are too different.
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Yes my wife and I swap a lot of clothes. Sometimes she even wears my jewelry. We can wear the same size skirts and pants. But all tops and dresses since I am bigger in my shoulders do not work.

Also my shoe size is 10 hers 7.5 so no luck there either.

My wife and I also share lots of stuff.  We're roughly the same size, although not proportioned the same, so sometimes we get each other's castoffs.  Some stuff we buy two of, one each in our respective sizes.  I don't have a separate stash of makeup, I just contribute into the common pool. Same with wigs, we each have a couple that only work for one of us, the rest we share.  It is funny how different our personal styles are, when we see a garment or outfit in a shop, we usually speak in unison as to whether it's "hers" or "mine."

I'm just about as lucky as someone can be having such a perfect partner.

Yesterday my wife took my black coat for winter, which I seldom wear.

Not just my wife. My little daughter at age 12 also takes some of my dresses, makeup items and accessories, but she just wear them at home. Some of my dresses are too small. I encourage her to wear outside, but she refuses it. I don't know the reason. And also she tries wearing my high heels, too. She is very curious, and I guess her fashion style will be similar to mine in the near future.

I've shared clothing with my former and current partner. The first one used to let me wear her clothes out of convenience, but she caught on to me and said, "I know you like to wear my clothes, and that's ok." My current partner actually buys me things to wear now that she knows. She wants me to go shopping with her so that we can try on things that fit us both. We share panties regularly because we're only 1 size apart. No makeup, but I use cherry-red chapstick, which she doesn't say anything about, except maybe, "Oh, can I borrow some of that?"

When we first married we were forced to share for economic reasons. We were both the same size so that was easy. Our dresses hung right along with our jeans and other boy clothes. The only issue was on "Date Night" when we both wanted the same outfit!

My wife has lost some weight the last year or so.. she donated some of her old stuff to me (dresses, skirts, tops) and I was more than happy to accept it. unfortunately she is only 5'1 and im 5'11 so shoes and pants are a different story. on another note, the dresses that were a little long on her are short on me lol, they look good though!

All the time and we both love it. Our jewelry stash is totally shared, tops and skirts are constantly finding their ways into each others closets. Sharing was an unexpected added joy to our relationship. And do I have to bring up the fun in shopping together?  Anne

Our sizes are too different to share most things.  But I do plan on borrowing her earrings.  And when she received a sweater that was too big for her, she gave it to me and it fit perfectly.

My SO doesn't like to share clothing or anything. She always buy two of the same kind if we both like it.
But we do share makeup, perfume and jewelry.
The only items of clothing she like to share is night gown and sometimes lingerie.

How I do wish that I could fit into some of my wife's clothes, but at 5'8", getting down to a size 2 just isn't going to happen.  While that does somewhat suck, I do revel in the fact that I CAN borrow (almost) all the earrings, necklaces, and bracelets that I've bought for her over the past 25 years.

I shared an item of clothing for the first time yesterday. She is going to a party on Saturday with old girlfriends and needed a skirt of a particular type and length as it is a theme party. I showed her a selection of skirts I had that I thought would be suitable and she picked my favourite from the bunch. The one I wear most often. I had to make her promise to look after it and bring it back. It made me feel closer to her than I have in a while. She looked much better in it than me and I think it looks good on me. It felt great to tell her how good she looked in something I'd bought. We have a similar waist size but she is much more curvy. It is a breakthrough for me. Patience seems to be finaly paying off. I nearly asked her to practise making me up but I didn't want to push my luck. Maybe next time. The whole episode made me happy and excited.

Just wondering whether your wife knows your gender identity. In my case, everybody around me knows it. My little daughter is interested in all of my fashion and beauty items. She is very curious, trying everything I purchase.

My wife and I can wear the same size jeans, slacks and panties. Slacks and jeans need to be shortened to different lengths.  However, we wear different size shirts and jackets.

Hello Barbie,

Yes my wife and daughters know my gender identity. I have dressed full time at home for a couple of years now. My daughters have been great from day one, sharing makeup and nail polish etc. My wife has taken a lot longer to get used to the change. That's why I am so excited by what happened. She was super nice about the whole thing and it made me feel more accepted by her than at any time in the past.

You are a big inspiration to me. You are so confident and look really stylish. One day I hope to be as comfortable out in the real world as you are. I'm getting there gradually.

Hugs

My wife and I share a lot of clothing. Sweaters, skirts, blouses, tops and coats. We even shop together for items. I tell her that with us able to share it's easier on the budget.
