Its been 4 days since starting HRT. Breast development should begin in a few weeks. What are some practical tips and tricks for dealing with the first few months of breast growth.

Tips #1 : dont expect to much  in first few month you Will be disapointed. I know it is a YMMV thing but they were having quick changes first month then I havent any changes for 4 week now.

Tips 2 : get yourself some sport bra. Even if my boobs arent something we can talk of , the breast buds i have are ultra sensible and when I run at the gym they are bouncing and it is very uncomfortable. It Will also help you to hide the ladies if you arent full Time yet.

Tips 3: massage your breast, it helps with development but dont put pressure on nipples expecting to produce milk drop. It can damage your growing breast.

I will let experienced sisters give more tips;)

Genetics. Some get rapid growth right away (and stretch marks, sadly :( ) but some are in it for the long haul. Some don't get much of any growth even with high levels so they may or may not opt for a BA. I want to avoid dealing with implants at all costs so even if I'm stuck at my current growth I wouldn't sweat it too much. Everyone is different.

You will notice the buds starting to form and spread out. It's a process. I would say by the end of month 1 or 2.

Start wearing a bra because the nipples will be sensitive to the point of distracting. They will also act as a thermometer.

In the months to follow as they begin to mound and future growth takes place, try to avoid bumping them because it will hurt like a somethin' somethin'  :o

Be sure to allow proper space as entry doors and car doors tend to be the most common boob offenders

Body lotion tends to be nice for soothing and keeping the nipples from becoming chapped, just put a squirt in each hand and apply in a light circular motion starting at the top, moving inward and then circling about the bottom and repeat

I tend to use Suave with vitamin e, it's inexpensive and works well on the entire body right after a shower and/or before bed

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

I'd use a plant oil based product...
coconut oil is said to have very small molecules so it might go into the tissue and help with softening...
and possibly help a bit with stretch marks...
drawback is it might be slighty oily in the beginning... it might take a few minutes to be absorbed...

Try hard not to bump your chest as when you bang your breast buds it hurts... I was surprised how often that area gets knocked..

As what the other ladies have said, wear a bra.. it does help protect your growing breasts and offer limited padding. I started wearing a sports bra almost immediately when I started Hormones. I was one of those girls whos nipples started getting sensitive within the first week. I wore a sports bra until I reached an A cup.. then I started wearing a "proper" bra
Enjoying ride the hormones are giving me... finally becoming the woman I always knew I was

Ibuprofen has help me heaps with the general achiness.

Watch out for cats and dogs deciding go jump on you. Had that happen last week I screamed.

Oh get used to sleeping on your back or side as well.

Most importantly - enjoy the changes. Yes, they can be sensitive or painful at times, but this is all about becoming you. You'll grow to love them. ;)
