looking to buy a new STP/Packer as I've been feeling super dysphoric of late. I want to start with something a little on the inexpensive side and am just looking for some advice about what you guys think is the best option to start out with/ what i can do in the meantime. Preferably something fairly realistic for STP, although for a packer i guess it doesn't matter as much. I'd really like an STP that works as a nice comfortable packer as well but i'm having trouble finding one that isn't over my budget. maybe i'm just looking in the wrong places?

You can never go wrong with a mr.limpy for a first stp or packer. The packer by itself is fairly inexpensive and if you don't want to spend a bunch extra on one that's already made into an stp, you could always make one yourself with a bit of supplies from your local hardware store. Tranzwear sells good priced stps and packers and have great service, I'd definitely recommend them if you're in the market.
