So a quick follow up for my 6 weeks post op:

I'm still suffering from a somewhat hoarse voice (though not as much as two weeks ago), but I felt well enough to record a sample.
This was somewhat of a nightmare as I am pretty critical towards my diction and had to record several times until I was somewhat satisfied with the diction and pacing ( Somewhat, I still think the pacing had some issues).

Let me tell you there is only so many words that can be said on rainbows, and you definitely don't want to repeat a hundred of those for the umpteenth time(And that comes from a person who studies physics in university).

So without further ado The recording:

Sadly I wasn't able to find a before recording but I had an approximately 130 HZ pitch beforehand. So if the pratt estimate of 220 HZ is to be believed I've got about 90HZ increase.  Pretty awesome if you ask me :)

Hope this helps for those who are looking into a surgery with the aforementioned doctor.

P.S
Happy new years everybody :D

Good recording. Looking at the PRAAT measurments gives:
Pitch:
   Mean pitch: 197.504 Hz
   Minimum pitch: 78.224 Hz
   Maximum pitch: 315.847 Hz

Which is pretty close to what i had, which were:
Pitch:
   Mean pitch: 206.633 Hz
   Minimum pitch: 170.586 Hz
   Maximum pitch: 242.355 Hz
