I'm 22 years old, and came out to everyone in my life that I am a transsexual male a day before my birthday last year actually, 12/20 is the day I did it. Before I did that I came out to my mother a few months before she passed, which I am grateful that I actually grew the balls to do. And she accepts me even now, I also came out to my inlaws (wife already knew) and they accepted it. So i figured" it would be a good idea to tell every one of this amazing thing going on in my life before I start HRT and go from a high alto voice to a deep voice". Surprise surprise lol. So I decided I would post it on facebook because I had just too many people in my life to tell individually. And they all are very accepting of it. I was terrified that I would lose everyone I know and care about but they are there for me. And i am very happy for that.

Welcome to Susan's Place. I am glad to here that coming out went well for you  because that's not always the case. Throughout life you must have cultivated some strong bonds for them the to accept you for what you are instead of how you appear.

Susan's should be able to help you with most any question you have and you will find the people friendly anywhere on the site. If you have a FTM specific question, you will find the guys tend to hang out in the FTM section and questions of that nature will receive a faster response if posted there. Thought I went the other way, feel free to ask me any questions you might have.
