The freedom to be who I am, and knowing the uniqueness of who I am. 

My personal belief is that just speaking for myself personally I was meant by nature to be like this, this is who I am. I doubt I would of been  free of this mystery whether I was born physically male  or female . I think what has caused my  situation is something at the very borderline of male and female and if I was born physically female I would of had the same urge to transition , but to male instead of female,  I'm bound to this situation at a primordial level. I struggled 60 years with this and I needed to make peace through acceptance. I'm a multifaceted enigma and proud of it. How do you like my new hat.

Nothing at all and I am not saying this to be pessimistic. This cursed condition has brought nothing but pain and suffering in my experience.

The ability to recognize that other people have different thought processes and that is okay.  I know that other people that have my birth sex don't perceive the world like I do, and I am fine with that.  Though cis-people often learn this lesson in other ways, some don't and never learn pluralism.

And honestly don't let anyone get you down Stephanie! If someone tells you "You are an evil person who is wrong. And you will burn in the fires of hell for your choice" All you gotta do is sit there and tell yourself "Hey... if I am going to hell, so is the doctor who diagnosed me with Gender Dysphoria. I am a woman, and I am clawing my way out of this male body!"

As a born-again Christian transgender woman who faces the "faith vs LGBTQA" thing... for what its worth, in all my doubts about life, living amongst a depraved world of sin... Truthfully after 7 ongoing years of Bible Study, I can tell you the only unforgivable sin is grieving the Holy Spirit. That is, to deny Christ. I'm not sure of my TG/GD, and I think sometimes I'm totally full of s**t, but really... no sin is too great not to be washed clean by Christ's sacrifice. 2 Corinthians 12:9: "And he hath said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."

To suggest a professional that diagnoses any one of us with GD, to provide SRS/GRS, or anything, to an eternity to hell... you've already judged yourself! Matthew 7:2(because the way that you judge others will be the way that you will be judged, and you will be evaluated by the standard with which you evaluate others.)

So sisters, whatever your faith or if you have none, at least take a little time to understand these words.

Personally I think the biggest sin of all should be speaking for God.

Would solve a lotta nasty problems in the world out there right now if people had the humility not to pretend they're God's personal spokesman and rule enforcer.

Instead of judge not, it should have been don't speak as if you're God's best buddy and privy to all his truths. Because you're not.

If god ever actually comes down and shows himself, I sure hope it's to give those people an ass-kicking.

It gives one a perspective that non trans people will never see. I like to think that it helps us be a little more understanding regarding people with a less than 'acceptable' social norm.

I fully feel that same way as LoardKAT on this.
Also, for me, after the pain of acceptance, I am a better person.

I have found that I solve problems differently that most males or females, and this has enabled me to find solutions to difficult problems that other could not, giving me a better success in my career.

And I want to apologize to those who may have felt I was coming on too thick about my faith. Kirk Cameron did this while on the set of Growing Pains way back in the day and turned off many of the cast and crew. And that is just one example of someone who is very zealous in what they believe in. I just read another post from someone in another thread that was gonna leave the boards because maybe she said too many edgy things. I hope she does what's best but I personally don't want to be like that. I have alot of personal issues and I should tame my tongue. They say, that when someone opens their mouth, they put their heart on display
