Hello friends! This is my second time writing this, because I deleted the first one on accident instead of posting it. Anyways, my name is Sebastian. I'm 17 year old ftm and I'm new to this website. I came out to my family last year, but they don't really accept me for who I am. For a while I didn't want to come out to my friends, because I was terrified that they would hate me or something. I recently told them all before Christmas and it went pretty well actually. Some of them weren't surprised, but for the most part they all support me (well except the few who decided not to be friends with me anymore).

I'm currently pre-T, but I plan on changing that this year hopefully. I'll be 18 in 8 months and that's when I will move out of my parents house and share an apartment with my best friend. If anyone is in Georgia (anywhere in GA really) and has seen a great therapist, I would love some recommendations of who to go to! I'm very nervous (and excited) to go see a therapist. I have no clue what to expect when I see one. And I'm a pretty shy guy when it comes to talking to people.

I'm planning on getting more into the lgbt community so I can help others! I'm thinking about starting a YouTube channel that focuses around the lgbt community. I know there's a lot of channels like that already, but it wouldn't hurt to try it (and maybe it could take my mind off of a few things).

Gosh I'm so bad at introductions so forgive me for that. Over all I'm just a chill guy who likes to read, cook, and play video games from time to time.

Hi Sebastion,

From the reading of your introduction, it seems you will fit n here real well. You are not alone in many of the things you are facing and I am glad you are here. It sounds like you have a plan and that is a good thing.

Here are some links to site rules and some often asked questions.

Welcome!

I'm not sure what local resources are available in Georgia, but there are several online therapists who are recommended. I believe there is a stickied post on the Therapy board that is a good starting point.

Most of the guys tend to hang out on the FTM board. There are a lot of resources there regarding T and whatnot. Pop in over there and read/say hello!

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS
