Gotcha. Well, the same advice still applies. I've always found it helpful to analyze what is making me feel a certain way, and then addressing the issue at the source of the problem.
If you struggle with pinpointing exactly what's causing your depression, making some changes to your lifestyle might help. Reducing your stressors, finding some kind of outlet, talking to someone, scheduling your days, getting more/better sleep, exercising, cutting out alcohol if you drink, eating better food, etc. are all good places to start.
And of course, don't feel bad if you do end up needing the medication. That's why it exists.
