Is there any advice/Ideas that i could use to help or take away my depression other then medication?
I'm asking because as much as i want/talk about taking med's to help me i don't want to take med's because last time i did they helped me only to later spiral out of control putting me on a worse path then i started with. And now that i have dysphoria and understand i'm transgender that's the last thing i need to happen as a possibility. The end result may just be me using med's that the doctor can give me but i really don't want to more then people can understand i just want another idea another pathway if anything does anyone know anything coping skills or thing's they may have done to help themselves?

T took away a lot of the depressive feelings and anxiety that I was experiencing. I think in order to give yourself the best shot, you need to assess what is making you feel the way you do. If it is related to dysphoria, the only thing that is going to help is addressing the dysphoria in some way. For most people, that is making steps towards transition.

Dysphoria was a pointer and 1 reason
but my feelings stem from outside the trans zone also and more into daily life

Gotcha. Well, the same advice still applies. I've always found it helpful to analyze what is making me feel a certain way, and then addressing the issue at the source of the problem.

If you struggle with pinpointing exactly what's causing your depression, making some changes to your lifestyle might help. Reducing your stressors, finding some kind of outlet, talking to someone, scheduling your days, getting more/better sleep, exercising, cutting out alcohol if you drink, eating better food, etc. are all good places to start.

And of course, don't feel bad if you do end up needing the medication. That's why it exists.
