Any deschamps-braly girls in the house? And/or girls who have at least consulted with him? Curious to know your thoughts, etc.

Hi, I had to say something after seeing this thread a couple of times.

I am no one's "girl".

I really hate referring to someone who went to a particular surgeon as one of their "girls".  This is not 1950s or 60s, we can watch men demeaning women on MadMen anytime on Netflix.

I would have gone to him for my most recent surgery, however he was out of reach for me financially, so I chose a different surgeon who seemed to have a stellar reputation based on the reviews I've read online, and he also included a complimentary neck lift (the deciding factor for me) with the jaw and chin work I had. I'm still wondering if I made the right decision; I need corrective surgery, so I am depending on him to honor his word.

It's a casual form of expression. No need to read too much into it.....

Eye of the beholder?  I've heard similar responses to people defending various 'isms.
