I buy mine through my insurances' mail order program (my insurance actually requires this).  I get a 90 day supply with each order, and it costs much less than buying them at a retail pharmacy.

I love getting mine this way honestly, no waiting in lines at the pharmacy and it's an extra trip I don't have to make anymore....  I have mine set to "auto-order" now too. 

One time I cut it too close for them to get to me via mail, I only had to go a day without but I didn't like it lol.  They usually come in about 2 weeks before I run out so they're always here when I'm ready for them.

I'm not sure about the options for you ladies, but testosterone comes in multiple size vials. The one I have tends to last somewhere between 4-5 months. I have to pay out of pocket for it, but it's much more convenient for me than making a monthly trip to the pharmacy.

The walgreen's I use actually prefers a 90 day supply.  My dosage just changed, so I've immediately got a bit less than that now though.   Every pharmacy is a bit different, but I think most giving a discount for buying more months.  Really just a question of how stable your prescription/bloodwork is.

My insurance offers the choice of either mail order (express scripts) or local pharma. My last vial is from a local Walmart pharma but the next one I may order direct from them.

Co pay is the same($20) either way.

Agree with "I-KATE" switched to walmart and got 90 day supply for $20.00, big saving my previous pharmacy with insurance was about $38.00 for 30 days, I passed using my insurance and used their free discount prescription card as their druggist suggested, as it was less expensive then my insurance plan;  very happy with the change.

I made sure to get one last prescription from my private endo before I had to switch to the low-cost clinic, so I was able to have a reserve vial of T (ten milliliters) to ease my anxiety. If I didn't have the reserve vial, I would obsess constantly; I don't need that.

I keep the vial in my safe. When I bring home a new vial, I put the it in the safe and use the old vial. I've never injected more than I should; I just need back-up in case (and it happened just this December-January) my refill doesn't come through in time.

Apart from that, my scrip is for ten milliliters, but my insurance will cover only a month's worth at a time. So I simply pay out of pocket. For T, the cost is minimally higher. Can you do this with E?
