There was a very special soul in my life that completely changed me. I was a very angry and introverted person who never though would ever be loved. She was brought into my life at the right time and I wrote this in her honer.
MY ANGEL
I came home one day to find a twinkle in her eyes.
Even though she had a frown on her face.
She looked at this meeting as an adventure and something new to explore.
As we sat together I started to feel just how much warmth she has.
I would soon learn how smart she is and all the courage she has.
It certainly didn't take long to see she has a very beautiful smile.
I just needed to look with an open heart.
I didn't realize then for I now know.
She is my ANGEL.
She warmed my heart. Taught me to see things differently.
Open and honestly.
She showed me just what un-quivering devotion and love really is.
She was always a welcomed sight who would follow me wherever I would go.
Always willing to play.
It never mattered, fear or sorrow, she was always there for trembling hands.
My tear streaked face never went by without her bringing a smile to my face.
Boundless energy, but just as happy to lay next to me.
She would hang on every word I would say.
She put me on a pedestal where she belongs not me.
She's my hero, my companion and now my guardian ANGEL.
She's my dog.
