I sure wish my girls would perk up. I'm still only a B cup at best ater 2 years of HRT. Plastic surgery is so expensive however I guess it's my only alternative. My doc can do it easy so maybe a full C cup soon. Good luck girls.
mtF, mid 50's, always a girl since childhood, HRT (Spiro, E & Fin.) since 8-13. Hormone levels are t at 12 & estrogen at 186. Face lift & eye lid surgery in 2014. Abdominoplasty/tummy tuck & some facial surgery May, 2015. Life is good for me. Love long nails & handsome men! Hopeful for my GRS & a nice normal depth vagina maybe by late summer. 5' 8", 180 pounds, 14 dress size, size 9.5 shoes. I'm kind of an elegant woman & like everything pink, nice & neet. Love my nails & classic Revlon Red. Moving back to Florida, so excited but so much work moving

I am a 30DD however due to the shallow nature of my breasts I wear a padded bra which "adds 2 cups"; bringing it up to 30F.

Wait... what?  DD = shallow ?  30 band?  DD?

I'm confuzzled.  I'm so confuzzled that I'll put a bunch of question marks in my post that will then turn into a substantially large family of confused looking emoticons:

??????????????????????????????

They have about 3,500 trans patients / clients on their books at any time. With numbers like that I suspect that they know their business.

You'd be surprised. Don't assume anything beforehand. They may know or may not. Experience is no guarantee.

Well I am now just over 3 years on HRT with a full 44B/42C breasts. Last year I contemplated BA, but wider heads and my GP suggested I wait until I had been on HRT for 4-5 years as they are still growing. Then I was probably more like 42A. I still had a visit to a surgeon, but he reckoned I should also wait. My only issue is my breasts are still too tubular, but I do have a lot of tissue in my breasts.  But the areola are about the size of a 20C piece (australian) and my nipples are always very perky and erect.

Two weeks ago I went for a fitting for a new Swim suit with my corsetiere that I go to. She commented on how nice my bra was (I bought it in Marks & Spencer in the UK in Oxford Street), but  recommended I used the middle hooks. The fitting was immediately better with better projection and almost immediately better cleavage. She said.. well there don't you feel much better now. I had to agree with her. Her  other assistant said thats much better - you now have cleavage. Just shows you what a proper bra fitting can do for you.

Mind you ideally I would like to be DD. My mother was 38DD.

I've been lucky, my sister was quite large and I guess I got the genes. I'm at a 38 DDD right now after 28 months

Hi KayXo,
Yes Progesterone would be the idea, but my Doctor in Melbourne (sven Strecker) doesn't believe in it and will not prescribe it

Why not? Based on what studies? I have compiled a summary of progesterone, its effects, benefits vs risks, how it impacts cis and transwomen, etc with a ton of scientific references supporting its safety. If you want, I can send you the document, you take a look at it, understand it and then present this info to your doctor. The objection to prescribing it is easily arguable because it doesn't hold scientifically speaking. You just need to know about progesterone and how it differs from other progestogens, become familiar with the science. Your doctor won't be able to argue against it. Trust me!

Just think for a moment...ciswomen produce it in significant amounts during the second phase of the menstrual cycle, in much higher concentrations during pregnancy. Need we really be concerned with a hormone that has been produced in copious amounts by the human body for millions of years? Anyways, let me know if you want the document.

It's time we educate our doctors. :)

Having bewbs is whatever. They just hang there. Don't even think about them half the time. Tbqh, I really didn't care much about bewb growth before, just wanted the other effects from hrt. Had you asked me last month, I would have said I felt worst, because I still live as a boy,and it's become quite an inconvenience to have to hide them everyday;I truly don't know how I will survive the summer, because recently they started rounding out at the bottom. Whats changed my mind is that just recently, I discovered that if I touch my nipples, despite how sensitive they feel, that I can easily get aroused. Tried it this past weekend for about 10 minutes, bewbs felt numb and weird, nipples felt super warm, laid on my stomach after, probably the most pleasurable feeling I've had in my upper body, ever. Just the way the numb fat feels under the nipple, OMG.

I still live as male but probably not for much longer, but have to agree , feeling of nipples was not expected at all, never really thought that they were a real source of pleasure , yes I know, it just never occurred to me that girls can orgasm from them then so should I .
Guess I'm a bit slow sometimes. and yes, OMG really sums up the feeling

I absolutely haven't. After 8 months of HRT, I don't reach an A cup. But I haven't taken Progesterone yet. It's the part I'm most disappointed about my physical development. I started at 18, and have feminized quite a lot, my body was never that masculine to begin with, but breast area has been really disappointing.

I'd sure love to report nice full C or D cup girls but after 2.5 years of HRT mine are maybe a small B cup, ugggg. I'm just going to have implants.....this summer.

Are your breasts still growing though? You've only been on HRT for 8 months, it takes more time for breasts to fully mature. If there is absolutely no growth, then you should go see your doctor and ask for HRT adjustment.

Have you exhausted all options with HRT?

Don't forget that at 2.5 years, your breasts are at roughly the same point in development as a 14- or 15-year-old cis girl's. There are doctors who will do implants for a 15-year-old, and also sometimes it works out fine, but...

I didn't stop developing until about 5+ years in, and my wife had a cup size growth spurt at 22 when she started developing at 12.

My endo in Melb had me on progesterone until I had srs, still unsure if it actually did anything
I will touch a 100 flowers and not pick one.

Thanks Jenna Marie. I may adjust my HRT soon. I'd love 100% natural breasts if possible. I did have to stop for hrt during some surgery periods of time. I'm still on pills, I've never had a pellet implant yet so my levels may not be right.????

Hi Serenation;
Who was your Endo in Melbourne. Perhaps I should ask for a referral to him. Were you on implants on Prometrium pills?

They grew until the 3rd month mark, now they seem completely stunted...I'm afraid it might be genetics, however my mother is a 34B and my sister has smaller breats, but has them. The rest of my body and face have feminized quite well, my thighs are thicker, my hips have filled, waist is smaller. I am and was always petitie, and had  very high voice (never dropped), so I started passing 1.5 month mark (before that, people were often confused my gender when I dressed in male clothes), but breast development has been nothing but a disappointment.

I'm not so sure. The stopping may be temporary or you may need a higher dose of E. All this needs to be discussed with your doctor but it's way too soon to give up based on the idea that it's genetics. It could well be that your E is too low or even androgen is too high.

I'll just second Kay's recommendation or if you are taking CPA as your AA since it is a progestin it actually helps the loboluvular development of your breast just like a bio identical progesterone it might just take longer.
