The testosterone is going to rob me of my neutral and soft face!

I'm 15 years old and I'm still trying to find a route to antiandrogens.  I've heard that the therapists will write notes for these fast if you're young just because there aren't any permanent changes.  I'm not trying to rush E or anything else (even though I feel pretty ready for that), I really just want to pause puberty before anything masculine seriously arrives.  I'm lucky my puberty has been slow so far, but I don't like the idea of it finally reaching this point now!

So what's the deal here?  What are the specific job titles of those who are able to write letters to endocrinologists?  I know not every social worker can do it.  I need to find one that does and try to get my Dad to take a look, because not only do I want blockers but Dad wants a medical diagnosis of gender dysphoria as well.  What exactly am I looking for here?  My Dad is under some strange impression that these people are common and local for some reason when I don't think that's likely to be true...  What am I looking for?  Thanks xoxoxo

You might be looking for a psychotherapist, but with a speciality in Gender Issues. Not all therapists specialize in gender identity. You can find a lot of resources in the therapy section of the forum. And welcome to the forum Winter.
At what point did my life go Looney Tunes? How did it happen? Who's to blame?... Batman, that's who. Batman! It's always been Batman! Ruining my life, spoiling my fun! >:-)

Unfortunately I've tried a few without luck.  My Dad wants one covered by insurance and he keeps coming across standard psychotherapists.

Its a fairly long story regarding a not-so-accepting parent, and another that is totally happy with it.  If I am diagnosed to have gender dysphoria, my father will go through with anything, including T blockers.  If I'm not diagnosed, he will continue to hinder me and put me down.  I believe this "diagnosis" is sort of required anyway for t blockers.  I know it is for E etc for a fact

I'm sorry to hear that, you might check online therapists for one's that accept your insurance.

That's not a bad idea...  Somehow I have to force my Dad to actually take a look.  Last time was a 4 month wait.  Not on the therapist, but on my Dad even bothering to find one.  Any ideas there?  Thank you so much xoxoxoxo

Working it backwards, if an insurance policy covers some aspect of transsexualism, they might have a list of approved providers. With that in mind, this link might be useful.

Disturbingly I think there's a database dedicated to working backwards like that, but my Dad doesn't bother looking into it.  If I can somehow figure out what the insurance is exactly maybe I could go find out myself...  If I say "Hey here's someone I found covered by insurance" maybe he'll listen because I'm doing his part of the job myself.
