Hi Amore,
Yes, yes, a thousand times yes. The only limitations we face in life are those that we set up in our own mind.
Transition can be very difficult, just as teen years are so often difficult for us all as we transition from childhood to adulthood. And I'm sorry to say that there's no short cut; the transition from childhood to adulthood is a formative process that generally takes several years. For many, if not most, transition from outwardly expressing one gender to another can also take years. A therapist can help, and clear minded, positive thinking peers and friends. (Those who inspire and encourage your negative thoughts are not your friends; give them none of your precious energy!)
Eventually we all come through the process (of becoming adults and/or gender transition), wiser, stronger, sometimes a bit beat up, and a whole lot happier in most cases.
Give it time, doll. Dedicate yourself completely to the best, grandest vision ever you held of yourself. Trust that time will take your faith in yourself and in the process and convert that faith into the reality of the person you were born to become.
My money is on your absolute success!
Love,
Miahru
